Adaptronic has developed these expansion modules to be easily installed into the Modular ECU's. The modules expand the I/O of the ECU to meet different applications end users may have. Each type of ECU has different amount of module slots: 

• m1200 - has no module upgrade slots
• m2000 - has one small module upgrade slot
• M6000 - has four small & two large module upgrade slots
• PnP units - Most of the units have two slots (eMod012 has an extra large output module upgrade slot)
